Visa Cases

Relocating from the EU
As long as you are an EU citizen, you don't need visa sponsorship to work in the NL.

Relocating from outside the EU
In cas you don't have an EU passport you will need a Highly Skilled Migrant visa. If you meet the requirements AIHR can be your official sponsor and the People team will help you applying for this.

Relocated with a previous employer
In case you already have a working visa but with a different sponsor/employer, the People Team will help you notify IND about the sponsorchange before you join AIHR.
Social Security Number (BSN)

Register on your own!
If you don't have a BSN number, register at the municipality where you will be living. Learn more about the details on the official Dutch government webpage.
💡The BSN number is necessary to be able to be employed on a Dutch payroll. Sometimes getting an appointment can take weeks, so prioritize this task!
30% ruling Expat Scheme

We will help you in the application process!
The 30% ruling is a great tax benefit for people who have come to the NL to start an employment. Althought we can not guarantee the outcome of the Belastingdienst decision, we can help you in every step of the application. Ask for the People Team's help in your application no matter you apply for the first time or you are already benefitting but you just changed employers.
If you are not sure about your eligibility visit the official website of the Dutch government.
Housing
As everyone has different lifestyle preferences and needs, AIHR does not recommend specific housing agencies or have a preferred supplier for housing. However, we can connect you to other colleagues who have relocated and who will share their tips and tricks for finding housing, tax advisors, and much more.
